It must be pretty clear by now that we have all heard of famous business men and women throughout history. There have even been bibliographies and stories written about these individuals. Some of these individuals include, but are not limited to Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates. However, it can be assumed that we have not all heard of a businessman named Greg Secker. In a recent interview with ideamensch the history and life of Greg Secker was dissected. Greg is the founder of the Greg Secker Foundation which is a non-profit organization that is committed to help raise the quality of individuals’ personal lives around the world. His most up-to-date achievement is composed of his launch of SmartCharts, FX Capital, and Capital Index. In the interview he is noted for saying, “I think I’d have taken a lot more time to appreciate the journey rather than rush through life at the crazy pace that I have done.” This here really showcases that in spite of all his success and achievements that sometimes it doesn’t hurt to slow down every once in a while.
Greg Secker was born on February 18, 1975 in Norfolk in England. He holds the titles of entrepreneur, philanthropist, international speaker, and master trader. His history began in the Thomas Cook Financial Services, and then he later moved on to manage a foreign exchange business. He quickly ascended the latter in the business realm being a vice-president in a major Fortune 500 investment bank that is located in the U.S. He would later expand his social circle, and be fortunate enough to be involved with some of the best international traders. It was here he practiced and honed his skills as a master trader along with his previous entrepreneurial ventures. Being a philanthropist he started a non-profit organization called the Greg Secker Foundation. This allowed him to drastically improve the quality of life of different people around the world. He was also involved in a lot of major speeches and market channels. Some of these prominent market channels include CNBC and Bloomberg.
It can be clearly seen from this brief description that Greg Secker is truly a man of action. He has accomplished a lot in his life already, and still has the drive to keep going. He wanted to mention that he did wish he slowed down and enjoyed the journey more along the way. However, it is clear that it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that Greg Secker is a man worth knowing about!
