The company sees dentists as an undervalued resources that can provide sleep apnea relief. Dentists can apply devices to patients mouths and noses that stimulate their airway passages to open, which would lead to less overnight wake ups.
Operation Smile is a charitable organization that helps young adults that suffer from a cleft palate, facial deformities, and cleft lips. Recently Dr. Avi Weisfogel launched an Operation Smile, Go Fund Me campaign. The target amount for this GoFundMe is $2,000. Avi Weisfogel said in a recent interview that he believes that every child deserves to be treated as if they were our children. He also believes that children deserve access to the very best care. Medical professionals, hospitals, and governments all help to make Operation Smile possible. They target as many children as possible for the year. Every year. These operations continue across the globe. Operation Smile was founded in 1982 by Bill and Kathy Magee. It began in the Philippines and over the years has built a volunteer network in 80 Nations. They have provided children with over 220,000 free surgical procedures. Another facet to Operation Smile as if they provide training to local medical professionals so that they have the ability to provide these services to children in their community.
Dr. Avi Weisfogel is the owner of Old Bridge Dental Care, which he established in 2012 and more recently the dental sleep Masters seminar in 2014. He has revolutionized the world of sleep Dental Specialties by creating oral appliances to treat Sleep disorders. Avi received a BA in biology and psychology from Rutgers University and a DDS from New York University College of Dentistry.
