Tangle-Free Earbuds support U.S. Olympics Team and Cancer Organization

It’s a curse numerous people have fallen victim to in these past few years: the overhanging frustrations accompanied alongside a pair of tangled earbuds. However, justice for this irritating problem may soon be at hand.

ROAM, a company dedicated to creating musical technology, recently created Ropes, a pair of fancy Bluetooth earbuds. Worn around the neck, Ropes boast the newfound ability to be nearly tangle free at all times.

However, besides not being able to get tangled, Ropes gives its user true freedom when listening to music. Ropes is the first pair of Bluetooth earbuds with a built-in smartphone app, which allows customization for various components, such as the audio and frequencies, to create a more personalized feel.

The initial product was founded by Steve Lamar, the co-creator of Beats, a company well established from their ‘Beats by Dre’ line of earbuds and headphones. Seeing past the inconveniences and everyday impracticality of headphones, Lamar opted towards creating the tangle free earbuds due to the small size and easy storage capabilities.

While a hefty profit from Ropes is a nearly inevitable outcome, Lamar hopes his product will also focus more emphasis towards two other important aspects: Ropes is available in white, black and orange in support of the nonprofit organization ‘Stand Up To Cancer”. Furthermore, there will be a specially modified version of the earbuds given to U.S. athletes as they compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
